Timothy Hinrichs

Hastings resident, Timothy A. Hinrichs, 41, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Haven Home, Kenesaw, Nebraska after a long bout with cancer.

Services will be Monday, June 11, 2012; 10:00 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Glenvil with Pastor Jeff Glawe officiating. Burial will be in Glenvil Cemetery, Glenvil, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Saturday, June 9, 2012; 1:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M., Sunday, June 10, 2012; 1:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. with family present from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Tim was born October 26, 1970 in Hastings, Nebraska to Richard & Karen (Onken) Hinrichs. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Glenvil, Nebraska. He graduated from Adams Central High School in 1989. Tim was a self-employed truck driver. He enjoyed classic cars and was a member of the Melon Roaster Car Club of Hastings.

Timothy was preceded in death by his mother, Karen; grandparents; uncles, Melvin Onken and Doyle Onken; aunts, Linda Onken and Rose Reeg.
