Vernadene Reeve

Hastings resident, Vernadene Ann Reeve, 69, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at her home.

Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 8, 2017; 10:30 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hastings with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Superior at a later date. Memorials may be given to First St. Paul's Lutheran Church. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Vernadene was born July 27, 1947 in Fairbury, Nebraska to Harold & Leona (Sporing) Hintz. She married Richard "Rick" Reeve on April 10, 1967. Vernadene was an instructor at Hope Training School and was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Vernadene also sold Avon for over 40 years.

Vernadene was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Elaine Hintz, Timothy Hintz, and Larry "Si" Hintz; and brothers-in-law, Bob Sanford, Robert Reeve, and Rod Reeve.
