Vernon LeJeune

Juniata resident, Vernon "Joe" J. LeJeune, 72, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Veterans Medical Center, Grand Island, Nebraska.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, March 26, 2016; 11:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Denny Reis officiating. Burial with military rites by Hastings Veterans Organizations will be in Juniata Cemetery, Juniata. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.

Joe was born July 30, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Vernon J. & Emily (Provenzano) LeJeune. He graduated from high school in New Orleans and served in the U.S. Army for over 20 years. Joe was a Master Sergeant with the U.S. Army until his retirement. He was a member of Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Salvador LeJeune.
