Arllys Olson

Arllys June Olson, 93, of Hastings, passed away peacefully at Mary Lanning Healthcare on Thursday, April 18, 2019.

Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Friday, April 26, at Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home in Hastings. Graveside services are 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Utica Cemetery, Utica, NE with Rev. Jeffrey Bloom officiating. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.

Arllys was born June 22, 1925, in Madison, NE to John and Winnifred Chapman.  She married Clarence “Curly” Olson on February 8, 1947.

The family would like to thank Mary Lanning Palliative and Hospice Care for their exceptional care for Arllys.  As well as to Judy Feik for going above and beyond in helping take care of Arllys.

Arllys was preceded in death by her parents, husband Curly, son Donald and daughter Judy Boyce, sister Pearl and brothers Virgil and Melvin.

She is survived by daughter Patty Scheideler of Crete, daughter-in-law Linda Olson of Lincoln, son-in-law Roger Boyce of North Bend, WA, granddaughter Kelly (Brian) Christiansen of Lincoln, great-granddaughters Taylor (Evan) Hohnstein and Hanna Christiansen all of Lincoln, great-great-grandsons Bennett and Samuel Hohnstein of Lincoln, brother Glen Chapman of Idaho and sister Shirley (Don) Herzinger of LaVista, NE.
