James "Jim" Norcross

Hastings resident James C. “Jim” Norcross, 85, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at Azria Health, Blue Hill.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to Lifehouse Church.

Jim was born September 27, 1936, in Benton, IL to Walter & Emily (Garbo) Norcross. He served in the U.S. Air Force from October 21, 1954 until May 31, 1976. Jim married Lynda McGuire on February 15, 1958, in Benton, IL; she preceded him in death on May 22, 2012.  Jim worked for Hastings Utilities for 20 years until his retirement.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Emily Norcross; wife, Lynda Norcross; and granddaughter, Jennifer Siemens.
