Lau'Rance Dollison

Hastings resident Lau’Rance D. Dollison, 36, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019, in Lincoln, NE.

Memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday, August 24, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Pastor Debra Rhodes officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Book signing will be 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family.

Lau’Rance was born September 9, 1982, in Hastings, NE to Lawrence L. & Vicky L. (Cates) Dollison. He graduated from Hastings High School in 2000 and attended University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD. Lau’Rance was an avid swimmer and diver for Hastings High School and in college. He was baptized on March 31, 2019. Lau’Rance loved music, photography, fishing, reading, and attending church.

Lau’Rance was preceded in death by his father, Larry “Junk Yard Dog” Dollison; grandparents, Charles & Lillian Cates and Essie & Rosie Leigh Dollison; aunts and uncles, Willie & Audrey Dollison, Chuck Cates, Jr., and Dorothy Waters; and cousins, Monica Dollison and Dante Dollison.
