Pamela was born in St. Louis, MO on August 15, 1947 to Robert L. and Dorothy R. (Loncar) VanBuskirk. Pamela graduated from North Platte High School, North Platte, NE Class of 1965 and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Pamela worked as a fit model in New York City and Los Angeles before marrying John C. “Jack” Osborne in North Platte, NE on April 18, 1970. Pamela and Jack made their home in Hastings, NE where she was employed by Morrison-Quirk and Weyerhaeuser Corporation. Pamela was a joint owner of Industrial-Irrigation Services and served as a Director of the company. She was involved in numerous community organizations including PEO Chapter DA, Sunnyside, First Presbyterian Church and Lochland Country Club.

Pamela was a unique and dearly loved fixture in the Hastings community and always enjoyed spending time with friends and acquaintances and attending social events. Her greatest occupation was as a homemaker and she took tremendous pride in her flowers and plants. She had a passion for entertaining family and friends in her beautiful home. Pamela enjoyed her time in Florida where she spent many hours walking on the beach, picking up trash, seashells and occasionally having the good fortune of encountering sea turtles nesting and hatching on the beach. She had a magnificent talent for design and decorating and a keen eye for fashion; fun, loud and colorful clothing, accessories and hair were her indelible signature. She was blessed with three grandchildren, whom she loved and cherished as their Grandma Pam.

She is survived by her husband, John C. “Jack” Osborne of 48 years; son and daughter-in-law, Justin C. and Alison L. (Meyer) Osborne; three grandchildren, Kingzlee, Stuhrling and Kruzann; parents, Robert L. and Dorothy R. VanBuskirk; and beloved cat, Gianni, all of Hastings, NE.
